The Townsville Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Chamber member
TSV Heli has secured a significant new Defence contract, representing a
major milestone for the locally owned aviation business and substantial economic
opportunity for the North Queensland region.

The official announcement will be made during a special Townsville Chamber Coffee event
to be held at the TSV Heli hangar on Thursday 30th July providing members,
business leaders and media representatives with a unique opportunity to hear first-hand
about the contract and its expected impact on Sovereign capability.

The event is a collaboration between Townsville Chamber of Commerce and TSV Heli, bringing together the business community to celebrate a major local success
story and highlight the important role Townsville continues to play in supporting Australia's
Defence capabilities.

Townsville Chamber Chief Executive Officer Emma Peters said the announcement
demonstrates the incredible capacity and expertise that exists within the Townsville
business community. "This contract is not only a fantastic achievement for TSV Heli, but also an
important win for our region. Defence continues to be a key economic driver for
Townsville, and opportunities like this create jobs, strengthen local supply chains and
reinforce our reputation as Northern Australia's Defence hub."
